Drexel University: Professional Bachelor of Architecture
Dan is a founding member of B.L.D.G. Architecture, LLC and has over 25 years experience in the Architecture and Construction fields. His education at Drexel University, like most architectural programs, included a heavy concentration in the conceptual and design components of architecture; but equally focused on the technical and practical aspects of building design. Most, if not all of his professors were current practicing architects, not strictly academics. This provided a balanced and comprehensive foundation that is evident in his work today.
His professional experience includes the design of many upscale private residences, educational, institutional, and commercial buildings; varying in size from small scale to over one million square feet.
Dan is also trained in sustainable building design, graphic arts, architectural rendering, and photography.
In addition to experience in architecture, his training also includes direct, hands on work in the construction trades. He worked as a framing and trim carpenter during his college years, and also worked for a time with a plumbing and heating contractor. This training compliments his architectural education and adds another layer of experience and skill sets to his design projects.
